The day is planned around Mindo’s nature and local experiences. Depending on your selected itinerary, stops may include a hummingbird reserve, the Mindo–Nambillo waterfall area, a butterfly garden and a local chocolate maker.
Day tour itinerary
- Depart Quito and travel toward the cloud forest, with a short rest stop along the way.
- Visit the hummingbird reserve when selected; entry fees may apply.
- Explore the Mindo–Nambillo waterfall area. Tarabita or cable-car access is subject to operation and the confirmed tour inclusions.
- Choose optional activities such as canopy or zipline where available; pay any extra charges that are not included.
- Visit a local chocolate workshop when available and return to Quito in the afternoon.
